September EO Talk · Five Directions

Five ways to open the door.

Five directions for the September talk. Click a card to bring it forward. Tell me which one sings. Each is built from the same raw material, just organized around a different spine, so they read as real alternatives and not reshuffles of the same deck.

The Big Wave

A wave of exponential change is already here. Meta Intelligence is how you stay on the board instead of getting pummeled on the beach.
The Hook
Open on the retirement brochure: the sunset, the soft rolling surf, the picture everyone is quietly working toward. Then the picture changes to an 80 foot wave. You have surfed plenty of 20 footers. This one is a different game.
The Movements
1
The wave is real. NVIDIA at two dollars a share, SpaceX four years early. Does your advisor even see this coming, or do they assume the future looks like the past.
2
One skill will not carry you. The curve dips negative before it crosses over. Money alone, AI alone, none of it holds the line. You need all four intelligences overlapping.
3
Flow is the felt experience. The Isle of Man racer at 200mph, front wheel barely down, calm at the edge. That is what riding the wave with all four engaged actually feels like.
4
The practice slows the wave down. Bob says the game slows for proficient athletes. ELP 2.0 is the daily practice that lets you ride this calmly instead of frantically.
The Turn
From "the wave is terrifying" to "the wave is surfable, and there is a way to learn." Fear flips into invitation the moment the practice enters the room.
The Close
You cannot sit on the beach with a cocktail and wait this out. It reaches your business and your family either way. The good news is you do not paddle out alone. Soft mention that there is a way in when you are ready.
Runtime feelBuilds momentum, lands around 50 min. The most cinematic, video heavy version.
Why it works for this roomConfident, time poor leaders respect the threat of disruption framed as opportunity, not doom.
Best if John wants the most cinematic version
